# {anchor:1}Petals ESB is a pure Java application and should run on this platform provided that all other JDK requirements are satisfied.
# {anchor:2}PetalsLink only officially support Petals ESB running on x86 hardware and its 64-bit derivatives.
# {anchor:3}Ensure that you configure your MySQL database to use the InnoDB storage engine, as the MyISAM storage engine could lead to data corruption.
# {anchor:4}HSQLDB : Petals ESB is shipped with a build-in HSQL database. While this database is fine for evaluation or development purposes, it is somewhat susceptible to loose data during system crashes. Hense, for production environments, we recommend that you configure Petals ESB to use an external database.
