The Petals ESB monitoring is based on information available through:

• a SNMP API enabled at the Java virtual machine level: This API provides information on the JVM only
• a JMX API . This API provides information on the JVM and on the Petals node

According to the monitoring tools to integrate with Petals ESB, you will use the SNMP API, the JMX API or both.
