Preamble

A development installation is an installation that is not suitable for production use.

By default, Petals ESB is configured to work as a single node, on localhost, using an embedded database system.

Installation

As explained above, by default Petals ESB requires almost no configuration. You just have to unzip the Petals ESB archive wherever you want to install it.

Warning On Windows systems, the path of some files created by Petals ESB can become quite long and may causes Petals ESB stop working properly.
